Moving Process

Welcome to Paddington Central! To ensure a smooth move and protect shared spaces, all new residents are required to follow the building’s moving-in procedures. Please read the following carefully before arranging your move.


Booking Your Move

  • Moves must be booked with the Building Manager at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Only one apartment may move in at any given time – bookings are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
  • Moves are permitted Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Moves are not allowed on weekends or public holidays.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1:
Complete the Resident Registration Form and Moving Request Form, and email the Building Manager to check availability and receive payment instructions for the bond.

Step 2:
Contact your removalists and begin packing.

Step 3:
On move day, park on Renny Lane and transport your items through the garage entry and lift access only.


Bond & Lift Access

  • A $500 bond is required and must be paid via electronic funds transfer before your move.
  • The bond will be refunded within 3 business days after an inspection confirms no damage was caused to common property.
  • The lift will be fitted with protective curtains on the day of your move.
  • Only one lift per day is available for moves.

Lift Dimensions & Access

All moves must occur via the garage entry on Renny Lane.
Do not use the Oxford Street entrance for moving at any time.

West Lift (near Oatley Rd entrance)

  • Door Opening: 2090mm (H) x 900mm (W)
  • Lift Car: 2270mm (H) x 1950mm (D) x 1400mm (W)
  • Includes handrails at rear and one side

East Lift (near Oxford St entrance)

  • Door Opening: 2090mm (H) x 900mm (W)
  • Lift Car: 2265mm (H) x 1950mm (D) x 1375mm (W)
  • Includes handrails at rear and one side
